Weekly Live Online Art Classes for Maui Keiki
|
Each week young artists age 7-10 will explore a new subject to inspire our artistic creations. We will meet interesting animals, visit unique ecosystems, and experience art from around the world. We will travel to a far corner of the globe, as well as explore our island home of Hawai'i for our inspiration. Students will then use drawing, painting, and even sculpture to create a work of art inspired by the day's adventure. Ms Maggie will provide specific instruction to expand students' artistic skills, such as observing and drawing nature, color mixing, strategies for using paper to create three-dimensional works of art, and more. At the same time, students will be encouraged in their own creative expression. All art levels welcome!

Virtual Plein Air Watercolor ClassesEnjoy one-on-one instruction, or bring your closest friends together via Zoom! Classes are customized to your level and interests. On the morning of the Moloka'i Hoe I stood on the cliff overlooking Hale O Lono and painted, expressing the energy of each outrigger canoe heading from the beach to the starting line. I so rarely make prints, but with the number of people involved in this incredible event, it felt like this painting should be available to the paddling community. Just released!
